On July 7, 2006, friends and family joined me in saying goodbye to my beloved Chas. The whole day was a giant blur and I am thankful to Christine for taking all of these photos, plus many others, because without them I would not have any memories of the day.

The temperature dropped down into the single digits and even lower for several days. Karoline really want to go outside and I let her for only a few minutes. It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining. But it was oh, so cold.
