I made this layout out of the SD4U August kit, and I used one of Becky Fleck's sketches (September 2005).

The layout is of my Cubs when they had their raingutter regatta.

I've started using the July kit from Scrapbook Deals 4 U I love this month's kit 'cause it features Little Yellow Bicycle's Sharon Ann collection. And those papers are so Karoline perfect.

S'mores

I took my Cub Scouts to the Boy Scout camp for a day activity. One of the activities was making s'mores.

BTW, what do you think about our pack's bright orange shirts and hats? I love them!

A couple of new layouts

I've started working on the Scouting album that I need to have ready by March 24th for a meeting with the agency that provides me with the funds to do the at-risk program I run.



These are the first couple of pages I've done. I used one of Becky Fleck's horizontal sketches for the first one and I used Tamara's sketch #36 for the second page.

I went over to one of the local beaches and took these photos the other day. The sign says "This beach opens mid-June closed after Labor Day". It is gonna take until mid-June before the ice is completely cleared from Lake Huron. Only the very foolish will go swimming.

The Mackinac Bridge
She's a mighty fine bridge
Five hundred feet high

In the Straits of Mackinac
There's about as much water as you've ever saw
The folks who lived there tried and tried
But they couldn't get across to the the other side

Couldn't get across without a boat or a plane
